Primarily because of American support for Israel, America in the eyes of many Arabs and other Muslims has been precieved as hostile. American support for Arab government which are mostly undemocratic has also angered many Arabs. The Fundamentalists charge that America is an evil society that has launched a war on Islam. Fundamentalits widen their appeal now charge that America has launched a war on Islam itself. This of course has not stopped large numbers of Muslims from emograting to the United states to pursue the american dreeam. In fact America has consistently acted to prevent starvation and mass murder of Islamic people as well as making major contributions to Muslim countries suffering natural disasters. Some of these countrie are oil rich and others are impoverished countries of no real ecomnomic importance. The countries or people include: Afghanistan, Bosnia, Darfur, Indonesia, Kosovo, Kurds, Kuwait, Libya, Saudi Arabia, Somalia and other countries nd peoples, . America has often been accused of making war for oil. In fact in all of these countries, only Kuwait has important oil resources. And in Kuwait only Sadam seized the oil fields. After liberation, control of the oil fields immeiately returned to Kuwati control. There are Islamic scholars who dispute the Fundamentalits. Some even maintain that America is more Islamic (just and tolerant) than fundamntalist states like the Taliaban in Afghanistan. In addition to specifuc efforts to assist Muslim people and countries, American technology and medical sxience has saved millions of people around the world including countless Muslims.

No other country has made such an effort conparable to America , including Muslim countries. In fact America has commonly saved Muslims from other Muslims. Afghanistan was invaded by the Soviets (1979). American aid helped the Nuhajadin expel the Soviets. Later after the Taliban gave refuge to Osama bin Laden, America expelled the Talivan and allowed the people of Afghanistan chose their own gobernment. Bosnia was the object of Serb aggression and terrible atrocities. America helped end the killing and serb occuption. Darfur was rhe scene of Arab genocide, more than 1 million Darfur Muslims were killed by Sudnese Arabs. Egypt has aarge population and is not self suffivent in food producrion. American food aid has prevented Egyptians from starving. Indomesia suffered a devestatig Runami. It was america who rived with critical relief supplies. Iraq was controlled by Sadam Hussein dictator ship. America gave the Iraqi people chance for democracy. And then later helpe the Iraqis resist ISIS. Kosovo was the object of Serb ethnic cleaning. America put a stop to this and allowed the Kosovars to return home. Kurds in northern Iraq have suffered terrible attcks, ncluding poison gas attacks . meica has helped the Kurds set us a prosperous enclave. Palistine has received etensive assiatane from the United States. Saudi Arabia after Sadam kinvaded Kuwait was also thearened. Only American military assistance prevented Sadam from seizing Saudi Arabia as well. Somalia suffered a desestating famine. America attempted to deliver relief supplies.

The United States--its Patrriot Act not withstanding--is still a more Islamic (just and tolerant) state than Afghanistan ever was under the Taliban. Remember this: Muslims from all over the worldwho wish to live better lives migrted to America, and Muslims who only wish to take lives migated to Afghanistant to join you. Some 3 million Muslims live in the United States. Although America is aargely Christian country, Muslims have total freedom of religion. There are no constitutional provisions or laws given preferences to any religion. Americans have aide range of relgious beliefs, but the vast mah=jority believe that every America has the right to chose and practice his religion wiyhout government interference. There are no restrictions on their right to practice their faith. Nor or there any blasfemy laws restriction what form od Islam they practice. There are no Sunis killing Shi'ia or Shi'ia lilling Sunnis.
