British Preparatory Schools E-Books: Reader Input

Figure 1.--Our visits to the prep schools you see here were generally limited to one day. We learned a great deal about the schools, but there were limitations on suych brief visits. The children like the boys here were usually quite interested in telling us about their school. We welcome reader comments to add insights to the images and text. We are especially interested in hearing from British readers who themselves attended the schools.

We welcome reader input to our eBooks. In fact you as a reader can make an important contribution to the books. This includes both our British and non-British readers. We have added a range of observations to our eBooks an attempted to analize the images in some detail. We believe, however, that the ideas and experiences of our readers can help to add to our observations. Thus we encourage you to comment on the various pages as you read them. This includes both factual observations and questions. Questions can be just as useful. If there is something you do not understand, it is likely that others had the same experience. Thus it is a topic or photograph we need to explain better or in more detail. If it is a new topic, we will look for a new image to illustrate it.

British Readers

We have added a range of observations to our eBooks an attempted to analize the images in some detail. We believe, however, that the ideas and experiences of our readers can help to add to our observations. You may note interesting aspects of the discussion or photographs that we have missed. Feel free to comment. In fact that would be veryhekpful. And it more than likely will lead to new pages. Actually I can probably find images to illustrate new points you may raise.

Non-British Readers

Mon-British readers can also play a role in developing our eBooks. Here the fact that you are not British will be an assett. British readers will be familiar with many aspects of school life at prep schools because they are British. While many British readers attended state schools, they are still familiar with the terminolog, games )sports), terminology, as well as the look and feel of the school. Foreign readers will be less familiar. You will probably have more questions about the text and images. Again feel free to ask them as they are probably topics that need to be addressed or at least addressed better. We would be glad to address yur questions which may lso lead to new pages. Of course this is an advantage to you of an eBook not available in a traditionally published book.
