The 2005 package here for tights illustrate that the fact that in Russia the producers of children's tights (kolgotok) present their product not only for girls, but also for boys as well. The imahe here shows a contemporary package of children's tights selling in Russian stores. Parents purchase them for both boys asnd girls. Name of the company can be seen in the upper right hand corner. It is "Amaroli" ("Амароли") . They are made in sizes up to 164 centimeters. This would be for children up to about 12-13 tears of age or practically already adolescents - (tineydzhery--тинейджеры). Our Russian reader tells us that many parents believe that tights are a helpful garment in the cold weather.
