Weaponizing Racism: Racism and the Democratic Party

Democrativ Party history
Figure 1.-- en.

The Democratic Party and the Mainstream Media, essentially an arm of the Demcratic Party, is increasingly pushing the narratuive that America is a viciously racist country and that conservatives and Republicans are at the heart of the racist system. It is useful as a result to look at the history of the Democratic Party and the modern policies it is pursuing. We all know that the Democratic-Republican Party was founded by slave owners Thomas Jefferson and James Madison and the modern Democratic Party was founded by another slave owner, Andrew Jackson. It was The Democrats in the South that formed the Confederacy to preserve slavery. And Northern Democrats led by presidential candidate Gen. George McClellan was willing to accept slavery top end the Civil War and preserve the Union. This pattern continued into the 20th century. Liberal icon Woodrow Wilson was the most racist post-Civil War president, segreagating the Federal Government. The resustance to the important Civil Rights laws did not come from Republicans, but from southern Democratic Congressmen. That was history. What about the modern policies of the Democratic Party. Important policies on abortion, economics, education, immigration, and policing have helped secure African American votes, but in fact have adversely affected the live of African Americans and other minorities. And to cover up that failure, the Democratic Party and Mainstream media suporters are now advocating censorship to prevent the full discussion of these issues. Any objecting to the idea that America is not a racist country is called racist. And any one who quuestions the liberal/Balck Lives Matters narrative is labeled a racist. Never before in American history has a political party (except ante-Bellim pro-slavery southern Democrats) or the press advoacted censorship in American political discourse.

History

The Democratic Party and the Mainstream Media, essentially an arm of the Demcratic Party, is incewasingly pushing the narrative that America is a viciously racist country and that conservatives and Republicans are at the heart of the racist system. Anti-slavery Americans for a time supported the Whig Party. The Whigs wanted to protect their southern wing. They refused to take a strong anti-slavery stance. This have birth to The Republican Party which was clearly anti-stavery, but not abolitionist. It was The Democrats in the South that formed the Confederacy to preserve slavery. And Northern Democrats led by presidential candidate Gen. George McClellan was willing to accept slavery to end the Civil War and preserve the Union. After the Civil War. it was the Democratic party that enacted the Jim Crow Laws, and not just in the South, that precented African Americans from actally execising their hard won rights. The Republican Party pursued policies to protect African Amricans, including President Grant's campaign to suppress the Ku Klux Klan. The Democratic Pary was closely commected with the Klan attacking, terroirizing, and lynching African Americans. The Republican Party adopted planks in the Party electotal platform to protect African Americans. The 1888 plank read, "the soverign right of every lawful citizen, richn or poor, native or foreign born, white or black to cast one free ballor in public elections and to have that ballot duly counted." The 1892 Republican platform cpndembed the "inhuman outeages perpetrared upon American citizens for politival reasins in ceratin Southern Statesvof the Union." The Democrats in stark contrast refused to include anti-lynching planks or planks assressing rcaial rights in their platform. This pattern continued into the 20th century. President Theodore Roosevelt invited thefursr African Amrtivan for a socil metting. Liberal icon Woodrow Wilson in turn was the most racist post-Civil War president, segreagating the Federal Government. He liked to view the facist film 'Birth of a Nation' in the White House. President Franklin Roosevelt refused to support an anti-lynich law and approved the internment of 175,000 Japanese Americans on racial grounds. This was the most racist action since slavery. He was qyoued as asing that immigrants in geberal brought "congestion and racial prejidice to pit large cities." He refussed to work to increase immhration qutas to Jews fkeeing NAZI ippression. (Earlier as a nenner of the Harvard Board of Overseeres he helped impose a restrictuve quota for Jewsish students.) The resustance to the important Civil Rights laws did not come from Republicans, but from southern Democratic Congressmen, men like Virginia Senator Harry Byrd--thevaithor of the Southern Maifesto.

Modern Policies

All of that was history. What about the modern policies of the Democratic Party. Important policies on abortion, economics, education, immigration, and policing have helped secure African American votes, but in fact have adversely affected the live of African Amerivans and other minorities.

Advocacy of Censorship

And to cover up that failure, the Demicrativ oarty and Mainstream media suporters are now advocating censorship to prevent the full discussion of these issues. Anyone daring to object to the idea that America is not a racist country is called racist. And any one who quuestions the liberal/Black Lives Matters narrative is labeled a racist. Nrver before in American history has a political party (except ante-Bellim pro-slavery southern Democrats) or the press advoacted censorship in American political discourse.
