Figure1.--Here Baudouine wears what we first thouught was an American sailor cap, but ob closer examination it is a bertet. He is swearing it with a white sailior suit. |
We notice Baudouine wearing berets in some photographs. So far we have only noted him wearing light-colored berets as a younger boy, even with sailor suits. One image shows him wearing what looks like an American-styled World War II sailor cap, but on closer examination it looks to be a light-colored beret. This is rather an unusual style. We have not noted many boys wearing a beret with a sailor suit, at least not royalty. We do not notice him wearing any wide-brimmed sailor hats like his father wore. We have not noted his father wearing berets at all as a child. We note one image of him swearing a dark sailor suit, but it id difficult to make out what type of cap he is wearing with it. Itvlooks like it may be a traditional soft enlosted man's navy cap. We have not yet noted any other style of hedwear, but we have only a limited number of images.
