Diafilms "Your Pioneer Uniform": Frame 14--Flag Bearers (1967)


Figure 1.-- The diafilm text read, "And now forward, flag bearers!" Pioneers were chosen to bear the flags and banners of the group at meetings and special occassions. Both boys and girls were chosen. This was considered an important hnor and responsibility. They were expected to wear smart uniforms.

The other Pioneers might be only wearing the standard uniform. Notice the Pioneer insignia in their sleeves.
