There was also a heavy reefer jacket for Winter wear. We have little information on these garments, except what can be observed in the available photographs. We do not know any noticeable changes over time at least since the post-World War I edra.

Cap

The cap is the traditional style worn presumably by the Austrian Navy. Although largely land locked, Austria-Hungary had Adriatic ports in the Balkans and northern Italy. Austro-Hungarian Empire still had a navy or up through World War I. The German word for cap is "Mütze". The cap was blue with a wide cap tally reading, "WIENER SÄNGERKNABEN". There was a streamer at the back. There was a crest at the front, I think with the Austrian national seal.

Middy Blouse

The middy blouse had traditional styling. There was a white blouse with navy blue collars and the traditional three stripe detailing. This was the summer uniform. There was also a blue middy b;ouse for winter wear.
