German Schoeneberger Saengerknaben: New Year

Figure 1.--The Schoeneberger Saengerknaben in Berlin is one of Germany's most famous choirs. They participate in a 2000 New Year celebration in their trademark black short pants and white kneesocks.

The Schoeneberger Saengerknaben has performed at many New Year celebrations. They always wear their trademark uniform of white shirt, black sweater with choir badge, black shorts, white kneesocks and black shoes. The boys appeared for New Years 2000 continuing to wear their destintive uniform for the new melinnium. I have no details on their performance.

Figure 2.--The Schoeneberger Saengerknaben choir uniform has changed little in over 50 years. The choir included a Japanese boy.

Figure 3.--The choristers here leave the stage after performing.
