This portrait shows a boy from Rouen taking his First Communion in 1907. The boy is dressed very formally. He wears a very fancy jacket, in some ways similar to a tuxedo. I'm not sure about thecolor, but it looks to be a black suit. The boy has an emaculate white vest contrasting with the dark suit. He also has a high collar. It is the same color as the vest, but may be detachable. He also has a white bowtie. with knickers pants. The below the knee knickers are rather snug fitting and do not blouse out. They look like they are worn with long stockings. His shoes are high button style. He has both a sleeve bow and white gloves. On the back of the photograph it says, Eugéne Chibacclte, 30 Mai 1907". Eugene is very well set up for his First Communin with a sleeve bow, rosary, and Bible.
