Figure 1.--This formal U.S. wedding was probably held about 1910. There is a ring bearer dressed in white and two oldr boys in Fauntleroy suits. |
HBC estimates that this formal wedding was held in America about 1910. I am not positive it is a wedding as I don't see the bride and groom, but I can't think what other occasion that they would be dressed like that, except for a wedding.
There seem to be a lot more girls in the wedding party than boys. There look to be three boys in the formal wedding party. Presumably thev younger boy in the middlev served as the ring bearer. The plder boys look to be about 10 years old and the younger boy about 6 or 7 years old.
For some reasons the girls are divided into two groups with identical, but different colored dresses.
I believe the ring bearer is the younger boy weith curly hair between the two boys in Fauntkleroy suits. I'm not sure what function the older boys performed, perhaps ushers. They are dressed identically, except for the size of their collars.
The girls have hats on, but the boys like the men are not wearing their hats.
Two of the boys both wear identical kneepants suits. They appear to be Fauntleroy suits with small jackets to show off fancy blouses. The younger boy between them in the white outfit is probably the ring bearer, but the image is not good enough two make out much of his suit.
Two of the boys wear wide white collars, one boys has a much larger collar than the others.
Two of the boys wear long white stockings with their knee pants suits.
