This postcard back family snapshot shows Bert and Herman Coon. They look to be 5-7 years old. Bert wears an all white tunuc suit. This was a very popular outfit for younger boys in the early 20th century. Even the belt is white, the belts which had no purpose were normally black. Herman wears a white knickers sailor suit with an unusual double sailor collar. We have not seen a collar like that before. Notice the USN on the dickey, maning U.S. Navy. Despite wearing white outfits, they both wear black long stockings. That was fairly common. They were photographed in front of what looks like the porch of their suburban home. Dad brought out a chair as Herman is taller than Bert.
