This cabinet card portrait is of H. Harry Cowell Jr. He was 6 ¾ yrs old when the portrait was taken February 1890. That means the boy was born about 1884. Harry wears a large white collar with lace trim and a huge floppy bow which covers up much of the collar. The bow has various designs, but they are difficult to mzke out. We are not sure about the color of the bow, but it may be red. He has a striped suit, but we can't see much detail. Harry's short hair is done in bangs. The portrait was taken by Harlow in Montpelier, Vermont.
