*** Logan, Claude, and Mark Mizener

Figure 1.-- David Albert Mizener had three sons: Logan, Claude, and Mark Mizener. They lived in Mitchell, South Dakota. The child in the upper right on the porch is an unknown neighbor boy. Notice that they are playing around the front porch, an area very useful for children and adults alike. One boy is barefoot. The photograph is indated, but it looks like the 1900s and it is a snpshot. Notice the wide-brimmed hats. Only one boy wears a caps. We though that hats were primarily for dressing up, but here seem to be worn as casual wear. The boys seem to be wearing blouses ahnd knee pants. Notice the very large pooch. We suspect the boys and pooch had great fun together.
