Here we have a CDV portrait of an identified English boy. The problem is that the writing is difficult to read. Our best guess is Louis Strade Wanslae. Feel free to try to read the hand writen notation. He was 6 years old. We have only his torso, but he looks to be wearing a cut-away jacket suit with a white collar and ribbon bow. The jacket has pipeing with an embroidered accented breast slash pocket. His hair is brushed back. The prortait is not dated , but we would iess was taken in the 1870s, probably theearly-70s. The studio was E. Swift & Son in Liverpool.
