Figure 1.-- This portrait was a photoback postcard mailed in a letter as a Christmas greeting. Written on the back in period ink is "WISHING YOU ALL A MERRY CHRISTMAS - FRANKLIN C. WEBER, JR. - FOUR YEARS OLD - 12/25/09". Franklin looks to be wearing a sailor dress, but he probanly was wearing a sailor tunic. He also wears white long stockings and white high top button shoes. It was a AZO postcard with four triangles up in the stamp box.

This portrait was a photoback postcard mailed in a letter as a Christmas greeting. Written on the back in period ink is "WISHING YOU ALL A MERRY CHRISTMAS - FRANKLIN C. WEBER, JR. - FOUR YEARS OLD - 12/25/09". Franklin lhas very short hair and looks to be wearing a sailor dress, but he probanly was wearing a sailor tunic. The outfit has tradituin sdtripe detsiling and an ermbridered nchor ion the dickey. He also wears white long stockings and white high top button shoes. The portrait was an AZO postcard with two triangles up and two down in the stamp box, which confirm our dating range. This was a studio portrait, although the studio information is difficult to read. We can make out that the portrait was taken in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
