We have a few Belgian family potrraits from the 1930s. We note one prosperous looking unidentified middle-class family, probably taken in the late-1930s just before World War II. There are three children. The boy looks to be about 12-13 years old and wears a dark single-breasted short pants suit with knee socks. Notice the knee socks are a light color and don't match the suit. He has two younger sisters. Both girls wear hair bows. The older girl wears a traditional sailor dress. Both wear white socks. Father wears a smart suit. Mother wears a blouse and skirt rather than a dress. The background is like the ones common in the early-20th century, but we don't see them much much in the 1940s after the War.
