Here we see a formal Anglican wedding in the 1940s, probably after the War. Unfortunately the individuals are unidentified. The wedding party is dressed quite formally.although the bride's dress seems rather plain, perhaps the result of World War II rationing which continued for several years after the War. The men are dressed quite formally, we even see spats and a top hat. This was not a problem for men as their formal dress could be worn for various occassions. A bridal dress had to be made for the special occassion. The flower girl also wears a plain dress. The ring bearer wears a rather plain blouse and velver button-on short pants outfit with white knee socks. He looks to be wearing plain school shoes.
