I think Emily Haigh may possibly be a cousin, the photo is not dated but I would date it at around 1870--notice she is holding a concertina. The photographers name (Moira and haigh) is probably just a coincidence, George Haigh had his photo taken at this studio in 1867. Emily seems more of a young woman than a girl. Notice her dresses fall all the way to her ankles. She is wearing panatelettes with them. She looks to be in her early 20s. The dress is nothing like the boys and Gwedoline wore. The dress is more like tghe ones that boys' mother wore. In addition to the dress she wears a dark jacket or cape-like garment over her dress--very different than the short jackets the boys wore. I am not sure about the colors of these garments. Notice how differently Emily's hair is from the way the boys wore their hair. It is done up and parted in the center.
