The example is dated 1950, but we are not entirely sure if this means 1950 or the 50s decade. An America reader writes, "Sseeing the boy with long blond hair, he seems to be from the late 1960s to 1970s rather than the 1950s." The 1950 dating is the dealer's estimate, there is no date written on the photograph. But it must also be stressed that this was France and hair styles were not the same in France as in America. We think longer hair for yonger boys was more common in France than America, ut we are not at all sure about the date. We see some European boys wearing romper pants as a gym uniform. It was not very common, but we note several examples.
