This photograph was dated 1928. It is clearcly a class group with the teacher. I think the teacher in this and the 1929 photograph are the same. The teacher here seems to be wearing a kind of lab coat. The photograph is labeled, "Im Hof der Humboldt Schule". That means "in the schoolyard of the Humboldt school. The boys wear a variety of outfits. Most wear shiirts or sweaters with short pants. Some boys wear suspenders. A few boys wear sailor suits. We see both dark and light-colored suits. The boys have short hair, but not the cropped hair that was common earlier. Several boys have bangs. They look to be about 8 years old.
