![]() Figure 1.--These Austrian brothers were photographed in 1912. Pisti wwars his military uniform. Viki no longer looks to be a cadet, but rather appears to be in the navy now--presumably a midshipman. Villy clearly did not go to military school and wears a suit. Fredy wears another sailor suit. This one is white or a light color and styled with a non-traditional collar. His hair is no longer being shaved. Image courtesy of the MD collection. |
Pisti wears his military uniform. Note the star on his high collar. I think that means that he is a leiutenant. Viki no longer looks to be a cadet, but rather appears to be actually in the navy now himself. Presumably he is a midshipman. Villy clearly did not go to military school and wears a suit. We have no idea why he did not follow his older brothers into military school. Fredy wears another sailor suit. Except for a smock and an outfit he wore as a toddler, we always see Fredy in sailor suits. He must have had quite a few of them as he wears many different styles. This one is white or a light color and styled with a non-traditional collar. His hair is no longer being shaved.
