Here we see the Moretti Caselli family from Perugia in the early 20th century, probably about 1910. It looks likethey may be taking a vacation in the countryside, perhaps visiting the grand parents and other family members. Perugia is the capital city of Umbria in central Italy, crossed by the River Tiber which flows through Rome. Perugia dates back to the Etruscan period It is also known as a university town, with the University of Perugia founded (1308). The family wears fashionable clothes. The younger boy wears a tunic suit. The other boy wears a blouse suit. The girls wear both dresses and blouse skiert outfits. The children are probably the Moretti Caselli family, but it is possible some aew cousins. The children lookto be about 3-14 years old.
