Swedish Boy Acrobats



Figure 1.-- Here we note boys training as acrobats in the 1950s. We assume they performed in circuses. We do mot know the name of the group, but there is some writing on the mount in Swedish that we can not read. Cicuses were still very popular in Europe among children as television was just beginning to catch on, especially in early 50s. The boys appear to be wearing their performance costumes that thave a Russian cossock look. They also wear baggy tights. There are four boys. They look a little to close in age to be a family group.

We do not yet know much about the different areas in which Swedish children worked. We do note boys training as acrobats in the 1950s. We assume they performed in circuses.
