Figure 1.--This American cabinet card portrait has no accompanying information. We do not know who they are where in America they live. It is not dted, but based on the clothes and hairvow as wll as the mount, we suspect the 1910s. Hairbows were espcially popular in the 90s. We believe the image showss the granddkids visting their grandparents. We see six kids, in addition to the baby there are three girls and two boys. They look to be about 2-13 years old. It is possible they are from the same fmily, but we suspect two or three families are more likely. The girls wear plain dresses, all with very plain necklines. Two are waistless. One has a waistline. The boys both have sailor outfits. One boy has longish hair and wears a sailor tunic. The other boy has short hair and a sailor blouse. All th children except for the baby have dark long stockings. They look to be black, but the girl at the right may have colored stockings.
