This family snapshot shows the five children of an unidentified family. The background looks to us like a small-town, perhaps in the Midwest. The children look to be about 6-18 years old. The snapshot is undated, but we would guess it was taken in the 1910s. The early-20s is possible but the hair bows, cap, long stockings, and high-top footwear suggest to us the 1910s is the more likely. The fact that the belt is the only Norfolk element suggests the late-1910s to us. We can only clearly see the clothes that the children in front or wearing. The boy wears a flat cap, a lapel jacket with a Norfolk belt, necktie, black long stockings and high-top shoes. His younger sisters are dressed alike with hair bows, very plain white dresses, white long stockings, and high-top shoes.
