Here we see an unidentified brother and sister in 1924. The children look to be about 8-12 years old. We are not sure where tey lib=ved, perhaps the Mid-West. They seem very close, looking caringly at each other, obviously enjoying having their picture taken. I rather thought of Scout and Jem from To Kill a Mockigbird, but tghey were not that clinging with each other and of course Scout hated dresses. The girl has bobbed hair doine in bangs, a popular hair style for girls at the time. She wears a plain dress with a waistband, knee socks, and "T"-strap shoes. Notice the long bloomer underwear showing at her dress hem. Her big brother wears a flat cap, a Norfolk knickers suit, and dark long stockings. The snapshot was dated 1924.
