Alex will be remembered primarily for his outstanding contribution in the music field: he was a Grade 6 violinist and a Grade 7 pianist. As such he played in every school concert, including this year's mid-summer concert. He won a music scholarship to Ardingly. He was best at Science, English and Geography. He was also keen on sport: he played football, hockey and cricket for his House and School. He also served the school by helping with the many jobs before becoming a Monitor
Andrew often lifted our spirits with marvellous trumpet descants to aid our singing in chapel. He sang in the choir and also plyed trumpet in the breass group. He has been a banker, a lighting engineer and a Prefect and Monitor. He was also our number one chess player. On the academic front, his always meticulous work, enabled him to win an excellent scholarship to Lancing, where we wish him every success.
I should think that Timothy's greatest success while here at school was his Art Scholarship to Eastbourne. We must have all admired his wonderful artwork in the front hall during the term. He has had academic success all the way through the School and has played for the soccer 4th and 5th XI teams and 2nd XI hockey. He has played in a variety of roles in School plays. Especially memmorable was his sinister Dragon in 'The Thwarting of Baron Bolligrew'. He has been House Captain since Simon has been made Head Boy, has played a variety of musical instruments and has been a Banker, Stationer, and Verger.
