Reader Comments

A HBC reader notes, "I find it interesting that the overcoats with long trousers have a military look to them as if they were for children going to military school. The overcoats with short pants do not. I am uncertain whether this has any meaning or not." Yes, HBC also noted that. Also notice that the double breasted coat has a hood. It seems strange that he would wear a hood with his military cap. We are not sure, however, that the coat is for a military school. We have little information about inter-war military schools in France, but there surely were some.
