Sweaters were very popular in the 1920s. Children commonly wore them to school and to play in during cool weather. We nore a catlog published by the Bradley Knitting Company. The company manufactured a wide range of sweaters and other cold-weather wear. Thev Bradley Knitting Company was founded in Delavan, Wisconsin (1904). It was a major manufacturing facility, and the pricipasl employerin Delevan. At the cpmpany' peak, 1,200 people were emploted by the company. Bradley made a wide range of knitted garments. Tosay we think of knits as sweaters and other cold weather clothing. Bradley is best remembered for their knit wool bathing suits. The company focused on sportswear, and their slogan in the early years was "Slip into a Bradley and Out-of-doors."
