Figure 1.-- We have only limited information on footwear during 1924. We have found an advertisement for Buster Brown shoes showing destinctive boy and girl styles. It was a prominant full-page advertisement placed in the "Saturday Evening Post" (March 1924). Here's one from 1924 that is aittledifficult to read. Other than saying that children are entitled to pleasing styles as well as comfprt there is not much on styles. In earlier ads we note strap shoes being presented for boys and girls. Here strap shoes are clearly presented as agirl's style.
