Frederich Wilhelm Children's Garments: Headwear

Figure 1--Here the German princes (Wihelm and Louois Ferdinand) wear white soft sailor caps anout 1910 or 11. They wear their sailor caps with matching coats. They looked to be pastel-cilored coats. we're not sure what outfits they are wearing under the coats.

The boys wore a variety of headwear. We notice the boys most commonly wearing sailor headwear, especially sailor caps. We notice quite a few photograohs of the boys wearing soft white caps. The white caps seem the nost common. Someyimes the boys wore chin straps with them. We alson notice the boys wearing matching wide-brimmed sailor hata. We note the boys wearing sailor headwear both with sailor suits as well as other outfits. We also notice the boys wearing matching stocking caps in the winter. They look to be brightly colored, probably red.
