English School Jumpers and Sweaters: Plain Sweaters Without Trim

Uniform sweaters were initially plain grey. Some schools still use the plain grey or other colored sweaters. The sweaters with detailing, however, are very common at prep schools. Some schools are not strict about wearing any detailing selected by the school. So you see some schools where the children wear both detailed and plain sweaters. But many schools insist that the boys wear the sweaters cwith the rgulation detailing, if any. The plain sweaters while worn a soime prep schools are much more common at state primary schools. The plain sweaters can be a little less expensive.
