We do not have any good images of the school in the 1890s. One portrait from the 1890-91 school year shows the boys with the clerical staff. The boys are wearing suits, quite similat to the styles we saw in the 1880s. The boys are still wearing mostly sack suits with lapels and collars and neckwear. The lapels are quite small and placed high. A few boys may be wearing collar button jackets. Several boys look to be wearing jackets with proiminent buttons giving them a military look. One very notable aspect of the photograph is the military style caps that many boys hold under their arms. Here on has to look close as the photograph is indististinct. It is difficult to tell from the photograph, but most the boys look to be wearing long pants. Most boys have close cropped hair.
