Institution St. Jacques: Scout Troop

Figure 1.--Here we see the school Scout troop in 1933. It seems to be a very small part of the school. The uniforms look much like the British Scout uniforms at the time.

The school had a Scout troop. We are not sure when it was founded. Only a small part of the school seems to have participated. We have an image from 1933. We count 20 Cubs and Scouts out of a school which presumably totaled about 80-100 students. We know little about it, but note that their were both Cubs and Scouts. France had more than one Scout association. We presume the school troop here belonged to the Catholic association. The Scouts wore the wide-brimmed hat and the Cuns the standard peaked caps. The uniforms look much like the British Scout uniforms at the time.
