Aberdare Boys' County Grammar School: Uniform 1954


Figure 1.--The boys in 1954 wore a wide range of jackets. There doies appear to be a school blazer, but few of the older boys wear it. Even some of the junior boys are not wearing it. Many boys wear open collar shirts without ties. The uniform regulations do not appear to be enforced, but most of the junior boys are wearing the blazer.

Most also wear short trousers, although the reguklatioin is not clear as a few wear long trousers. One boy appdears to be wearing a blazer from another school.
