This photograph shows the athletic team of Tenison Woods College, a Catholic private school in Mount Gambier, South Australia. A reader estimates that this photo was taken in 1930s or early 40s. HBC would estimate that the 1960s is more likely. The boys are wearing the sport uniforms: white sleeveless shirts with school logo and dark shorts. Nobody wear shoes, but I don't know if bare feet were compulsory. Probably not as going barefoot for sports and physical education was quite common in both Australia and New Zealand.
