Scottish School Uniform: Individual Schools--St. Patrick's Primary: 1972

Figure 1.--This photograph shows the school uniform at St. Patrick's Primary School in 1972. This photograph shows one of the younger forms at the school, probably the 8 year olds.

The students at Patricks Primary School in 1972 wore school uniforms. Little additional information , however, is available on thhe uniform the boys are wearing as they are all in the back row. The boys and girls appear to be wearing the smae uniform described in more detail in the 1971 page. The boys wear grey shirts and stripped ties. The girls wear gymslips annd ties. The students look to be in one of the younger forms. The only difference that HBC's notes from the 1971 photograph is that the girls in 1972 seem to have a school badge on their gym slips, which does not have appeared to have been the case in 1971.
