The School of the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen: First Communion Outfits (1960s)


Figure 1.-- The boys in the early 1960s wore the same white short pants suits that they wore in the 1950s. They also wear them with saddle shoes as they did in the 1950s. The school changed the boys' outfits so that in 1962 they are wearing white long pants suits. The girls wear the same fancy white dresses. Clicvk on the image to see the 1962 First Communion classs.

The boys in 1960s wore the same white short pants suits that they wore in the 1950s. They also wear them with saddle shoes as they did in the 1950s. Here we see the First Communion Class in 1960 (figure 1). There seem to be an unusually small number of boys. The school changed the boys' outfits so that in 1962 they are wearing white long pants suits. The girls wear the same fancy white dresses.
