A former parochial student relates, "This photo used to be on the wall of Delson's shoe store in Port Chester, New York. This is a funny story. I went to Corpus Christi Catholic School as a boy and our parents had to buy our school clothes at approved clothing stores on Main Street in Port Chester, NY. The boys and girls had to purchase their uniform shoes at the Delson Shoe Store. This photo and others showing boys and girls at play hung on the walls at Delson's. I was always ... "Disturbed" ... by this photo as a young boy. I always thought that the little boy was a "retard" (a term I would never use today) and that the little girl was goofing on him by riding on his back. Many, many years later, I found this very same photo at an old antique store in Port Chesterthat used to be where Costco is now! I think this photo is downright hilarious.
