Clothing and Costumes Worn by Child Actors: U-V

Figure 1.--.

Information about child actors also provodes a great deal of fashion information. Both clothes these children wore as well as the costumes they wore in their films and shows provide much valuable information. These childrens often dressed very fashionably so information about them provides insights into contemprary fashions. The costumes they wore in films also provides useful information--although it must be treated more cautiously. HBC is preparing an alphabetical listing of child actors in movies, plays, and television.

Underwood, Jay - (US, 19??- )

Has played in "Desert Bloom" and "The Boy Who Could Fly."

Van Patten, Dick - (US,1928- )

Born on December 9, 1928 in Kew Gardens, New York. He began acting as a child making his broadway debut at 7 and an isolated film appearance along side his sister Joyce at in "Reg'lar Fellers" (1941). Played a teenager in the long running TV series, "I Remember Mama".

Van Patten, Vincent - (US)

In a Walt Disney movie about the Civil War and ballons.

Vogel, Mitch - (US,1957?- )

Mitch was a sort of freckled faced, All-American boy. I remember him best in "The Reivers" (1969). I liked how he objected, but obediently did "his manners" when instructed to. He also appeared in "The Boy from Dead Man's Bayou" (1971).
