"Bloom" is adapted from James Joyce's classic Ulysses, Bloom takes place on June 16, 1904. The day provides a kind of gateway into the consciousness of its three main characters of the book: Stephen Dedalus, Molly Bloom and the exceptional Leopold Bloom.
A scene from the movie shows two young boys playing ball on the beach and they are asking the ladie for their ball back. They boys appear later in the film in brief sequences.
