Another primary school is the Adršpach School, located in the Czech portion of Czechoslovakia. It looks to be a small village primary school. The whole school is only about 30 children and it looks to be set in a rural area. The images we have are from the 1950s. They show that economic conditions were still quite poor in the early 50s. A photograph from 1950-51 show only 30 students in the entire school. Many od the children were barefoot. The boys wore short pants. Here in 1957-58. the boys still wear mostly short pants. Economic conditions had improved considerably by the late 50s. All the children have shoes. Suspenders are no longer common. One boy wars H-bar shorts. Some of the girls wear pinafores. The children were still not wearing uniforms. The Adršpach School looks to have changed substantially by 1957-58. There look to be separate classes like the one here. Notice how the boys have mostly buttoned their collars.
