Figure 1.-- Here we see the Chillingham Public School in 1960 on a cool day. Some of the children look like they are a bit chilled. There was still no uniform. Click on the image to see the rest of the school.

Here we see the school in 1960. This time the portrait was taken during cool weather. One boy looks chilly. They wear lonhg sleeve shirts. Severasl boy have jackets on. Even so it can be that cold as the boys are all wearing short pants. The girls wear dresses. Most of the children are barefoot. One girl wears school sandals.
