**
The pants or trousers worn with blazers varied. The standard English combination was a colored blazer with dark color pants. This blazer color could be a bright color or striped. Therewere also more muted colors like navy blue or grey. Black blaze were very common, but we have never noted a white blazer. These are generally worn with contrasting, normally grey pants. Grey is not the only coilor. We have akso noticed bavy blue, khaki, or other colored pants, but grey was by far the doiminant color. Another aoporoach is more of a suit like approach with matching blazer and pants. In most cases this involves grey or other suiting colors. The jacket for these sduit bkazers normally has the poatch pocket for the school crest. There are also different types of pants. Bkazers are woirn with bith short and long oants. We do not commonly see knickers or knee pants. We have seen the pants done in different material weights fir seasonal wear, but we do not see this to any extent in England.
