Scandinavian Boy: Tourist Shop (1953)

Figure 1.-- Here we see the boy at a Norwegian store. It seems to be some kind of tourist shop , bsed on the trinkets for sale in the window, This was probably located in the town where the lake boat that they took a ride on was based. I'm not sure how excited the boy was withthe bear.

Here we see the boy at a Norwegian store. It seems to be some kind of tourist shop , bsed on the trinkets for sale in the window, This was probably located in the town where the lake boat that they took a ride on was based. Note the tinkets have a saafaring character. The boy wears a v-neck sweater, khaki shorts, striped ankle socks, and closed-toe sandals. He is posing with a stiffed polar bear. I don't think, however, that Morway had polar bears.I'm not sure how excited the boy was withthe bear. Perhaps it was dad who suggested the photograph.
