The Paris department store Au Printemps offered two types of detabable collars for shirts. wearing a crisp collar was still a common style in 1924.

The Store

Au Printemps is a Paris deparment store. We know very little about the store at this time. The large newspaper ad suggests that it was an important store.

Au Printemps offered two diferent detachable collars.

Le Printemps

The ad copy for this detachable collar read, "'Le Printemps'. Col empesé en percale fine. Le col Fr 2.25." This would translate as

Ring

The ad copy for this detachable collar read, "'Ring'. Col empesé en percale fine. Le col Fr 2.15." This would translate as
