A French reader mentioned Tricotons to HBC. We know virtually nothing about the magazine at this time. We know that it was publishuing in 1947, but we do not know when it began and when it ceased publications. The 1947 issue offered patterns for boys knits, ibcluding boys' wool knit pullover and cardigan sweaters and
and shorts.

The top two garments (cardigan and shorts) were for a boy of 5-8 years. The cardigan is in a Argyle pattern. Notice the matching buttons and collar. I'm not sure what colors these were made in.
The long sleeve pull over was for a boy of 11-12 years. Unlike most pullovers, this sweater had a distinctive collar. Also notice the two button poockets. There is also two different styles of knitting ptoviding a pattern. All this detailing would have made this a difficult pattern to knit.
The short sleeve pullover was for a boy of 12-13 years. This pullover had a kind of krinkled look. There is no collar, but a swiare sailor type neck area.
