We notice a Chips and Twigs magaiune advertisment. Chips and Twigs are brand names of the W.M. Schwarz & Co.
The ad copy is a little difficult to read. We do not know whay magazine it apeared in, but we know it was dated 1952, probably a fall issue. We see what looks like a back to school outfit and jacket as well as suits for younger and older boys. The suits are headed Kord. I think that means that the pants were corfuroy. The jajkets are not cord, but the pants are. The short pants Eton suit was for boys 3-7 years of age. It came with a matching peaked cap which thad refers to as an Eton cap. The long pants suit seems to come in sizes 4-12 years.
Stormerar seems to be casual schoolwear. The Stormaway jacket is higligted here. The ad copy indicates that it is "washable! Wind resistant! Water repellent! Fade resistant! the rest of the ad copy is too difficult to read. Also offered are plaid flannel sgirts which seem to match the jacket lining. The baseball-like cap has a matching front. They are worn with what looks like khaki slacks.
The suits are headed Kord. Despite the back to schjool heading, the suits are not schoolwear, but rather fall dressup clothes. I think that means that the pants were corfuroy. The jackets are not cord, but the pants are. The short pants Eton suit was for boys 3-7 years of age. It came with a matching peaked cap which thad refers to as an Eton cap. The long pants suit seems to come in sizes 4-12 years.
