Andy: Family Photograph Album--Father and Uncle

Figure 1.--This is an interesting picture of my Uncle Bill in a sailor suit. He wears a middy blouse and black shorts. The middy blouse has the usual black silk scarfe. My father (Jim) is dressed in a dress (I suppose this was quite a usual dress for both sexes of that early age at that period). This picture was taken in about 1916.

Both brothers joined the army as offices during the World War II. Bill was posted in Gibraltar, whilst my father was sent to Iraq. After the War they joined the family business of Hall & Co (builders merchants) as directors. Bill was chairman and my father Managing Director.
