We also see a skiing outing. Skiing was not something every German boy did. But it was something that some working-class boys might have an opportunity to do because of the HJ. We would guess that the skiiing equipment probably belong to the HJ, but we have not details on this. I am not sure just how common skiing outings would have been for Germany boys. They may have been most common in the mountaneous Alpine south where many boys would have had some basic skiing skills and skiing equipment. But we just do not know at this time.
